her dark evil side to come out is her biological mother.
Representation
As a director,
when creating No Coincidence, I had a vision of having the main lead character
to be a young polish girl as in the horror film genre I have never seen a
polish girl playing the main role. This makes my film unique as it challenges
the typical white American stereotype and creates a challenge for the horror
film industry.
Audience
Also, No Coincidence is aimed at the target
audience of 16+ due the graphic imagery used in my movie. I believe that it would
very successful due to the that a large audience from all around the world would
be interested in the different story line and the plot twist, this is also a challenge
I’ve thrown in the horror industry. Furthermore, I would like to use different lighting
through out the movie to highlight the main characters evil side coming out,
this will help the audience understand my character better. According to Blumer
and Katz No Coincidence creates a sense of escapism as the story line is out of
the ordinary causing the audience to become interested and intrigued so they
then can feel emotions towards the characters creating a relationship.
